The villa is located on a hillside facing the sea and is immersed in a rich Mediterranean bush. The breeze from the sea mitigates the climate and carries the scent of rosemary,lentisks and myrtles. All around flocks of sheep graze in the fields confined by stone walls overgrown with prickle pears and agaves.
It is a quiet silent place away from traffic and noise, where the spirit can rest in peaceful privacy.
From the verandas the view embraces the Isuledda, the Liscia beach, the archipelago of Maddalena and farther off the islands of Spargi, Budelli, Santa Maria as far the horizon, where the snowy summits of Corsica can often be seen on clear spring days.
On top of the house the solarium offers breathtaking panorama of the whole coast from Palau to Santa Teresa di Gallura.
The Residence consists of two flats on the ground floor and two on the first floor. All flats have verandas with view of the sea.
In each flat on the ground floor a small garden offers a secluded corner for relaxation and sunbathing.
The villa is surrounded by a park of some 3,000 sqm. Rich in spontaneous vegetation made up of wild olive trees, phyllireas, lentisks, myrtles, strawberry trees, junipers, holm-oaks, prickly pears, oleanders, heathers and agaves. A variety of ornamental plants such as cactuses, passion flowers, jasmines, daturas, focuses, stephanotis, plumbagoes, clerodendron, geraniums and many-coloured bougainvilleas add to the natural charm of the place.
All flats have just been refurnished and consist of two double-bedded rooms, a bathroom, a living room with kitchenette (total surface area about 55 sqm.) and a large veranda with view of the sea.
All rooms are furnished with “Arte Povera style” pieces in decapé colours.
The kitchens are equipped with refrigerator, freezer, cooking stove, laundry machine, saucepans and tableware. Sheets and towels are not included.
Outdoor furniture is present in all verandas, where our guests can have dinner enjoying the cool evening breeze even in full summer.

The residence is 7 km far from Palau, 15 km from Santa Teresa, 17 km from Arzachena, 35 km from Olbia, 2 km from San Pasquale, 5 km from Porto Pozzo, 4 km from Isola dei Gabbiani.
Newspapers, postcards and stamps are available at La Capannaccia, 2,5 km from the residence. A fax service, a small supermarket are also present in that little village while all kinds of shops and restaurants can be found a San Pasquale, Porto Pozzo, Palau and Santa Teresa.
The nearest beach is Liscia Beach, a long crescent of white sand, bordered by an emerald-green sea. It is never overcrowded even in full season, and is a paradise for surfing thanks to constant winds.
In few kilometres you can find some of the most beautiful beaches of Sardinia.
The Residence is in the vicinity of the small arbour of Porto Pozzo where boats can stop or be hired. It is also not far from the well-known sea port of Palau.
In the surroundings there are several restaurants offering a rich choice of traditional dishes as well as the famous myrtle liquor typical of Sardinia.
The area is famous for many important archeological sites with remains of the nuragic civilization like the “Domus de Janas”, the “nuraghi” and the intriguing “Tombe dei Giganti” (Giant’s Tombs). Traces of Phoenician civilization can also be found in some places.
Worthy of mention are the many religious ceremonies and popular festivals reviving the colourful customs and rich folklore of Sardinian tradition, such as “Li Candelieri”, the “Lunissanti” and the “Mamuthones”.
